Newark International Airport

Girder Clamps supplied by LNA Solutions were used to connect a curved monorail beam within a building that houses Heating and Refrigeration units at Newark International Airport. The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey used LNA Solutions connections within this facility for the many unique features offered by them. They realize the benefit of a guaranteed safe working load and the ability for lateral adjustment of the monorail beam not offered by welding or drilling.

After being contacted by The Port Authority, LNA Solutions Engineers designed the connection to suit the steel sizes being connected, the radius of the beam in relation to the existing structure and required load capacity of the monorail. With this information, detailed CAD drawing were submitted and approved and the installation was completed with standard LNA Solutions components.
