Cavity Connectors Reduces Site Drilling By 50%
Cavity Connectors were chosen to make mid point connections to structural tube at a well known Midwest retailer and grocery store. The structural tubes are used to frame the entrance canopy and side canopies to protect garden supplies. Cavity Connectors enable the user to connect anywhere along the length of the tube from one side only. Compared to through bolting, the total number of holes to be drilled is reduced by half. The holes may be shop or site drilled as required. Cavity Connectors were installed using simple hand tools and does not require the use of site power. This represented a considerable cost savings in terms of labor.
